In 2008, I was a part of launching what’s now called the Ugandan Water Project. Our road manager at the time, James Harrington, did such a great job developing the
project that we could no longer manage it as a side project of Isaiah 6 Ministries. We both felt it was God’s will for James to move on from his position at Isaiah 6 and take the water project to a new level by launching an autonomous organization. In 2009, the Ugandan Water Project organization was birthed. I’m still active as a board member. In five short years, 111 tanks have been placed in villages, changing thousands of lives! The impact is both natural and spiritual. Meeting practical needs has opened the door to many hearts for the gospel.

I am excited to announce that we are going back to Uganda this summer with the Ugandan Water Project from July 29th-August 11th! We’re calling this venture “Uganda13.”

Short-term missions is a passion of our family and I am thrilled to announce that not only am I going, but I’m bringing my daughters Grace (15) and Joye (13)! This will be Joye’s very first trip. Gracie was on the original Ugandan Water Project team in 2008 as a 10-year-old, and this will be her first time back. The Ugandans can’t wait to see her again! This will be my 5th trip to Uganda. We delight in preaching the life-changing gospel to our African friends and demonstrating  God’s love through service!U13 Family

Our work will include visiting water tank sites, ministering at a national youth conference, children’s ministry with village and orphanage children, street evangelism, and ministering at a leadership conference. We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in this way!

Because three of our family members are going, we need to raise $10,200 for this trip! This is a big step of faith for us, but we truly believe that God will provide where He guides.

Would you consider partnering with us to preach the gospel to these dear people on the other side of the world? We’re asking that you’d pray about giving a gift of $30, $60, or $120 to help us obey Christ’s command to “Go!” All donations will be split three ways between us. We need $6000 raised by June 3rd for plane tickets. (7/8/13 UPDATE! We have our plane tickets and are now only $1150 away from reaching our final goal!)
